Terms of Service
These terms explain how CueLift works, what Pro includes, and what you agree to when you use the app.
1. Using CueLift
CueLift is a native mobile app for presentation rehearsal. You can paste a script, generate a Talk, practice with cue cards, edit cards, export a Talk, use Live Cue mode, and back up Talks while Trial or Pro access is active. You are responsible for the scripts you add, the places you export or share them, and for using CueLift lawfully.
2. Accounts and onboarding
You need an account to use CueLift features such as the trial, Talk generation, backup, and Pro access. CueLift uses email OTP sign-in. During onboarding, you provide a display name, use cases, and referral source. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in access secure, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized use. The no-card trial starts after onboarding profile setup is completed.
3. Free trial
New users can try CueLift free for 7 days with no payment details required. Trial includes the Pro feature set, including Talk access, practice, Live Cue, export, editing, local storage, and cloud backup, but it includes only one Talk generation total. A generation can create an original-only Talk or, if you choose that option, an original Talk plus a polished Talk. That still counts as one generation.
4. Pro plans and limits
CueLift Pro is available as Pro Monthly for $6 per month and Pro Yearly for $36 per year, subject to the final price, taxes, and currency shown by Apple or Google at purchase time. Pro unlocks unlimited saved Talks, Talk access, practice, Live Cue, export, editing, cloud backup, restore, and sync.
Pro includes up to five successful Talk generations per UTC day. Trial includes one successful Talk generation total. We may also apply reasonable safeguards to prevent abuse, protect the service, or handle provider and service limits.
5. Billing, switching, cancellation, refunds
Paid subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. CueLift uses RevenueCat to help connect store purchase status to your CueLift Pro entitlement. Apple or Google terms, billing rules, taxes, price displays, subscription management, cancellations, and refund policies apply. You can switch between monthly and yearly Pro through the subscription tools in the store where you subscribed.
Unless cancelled, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. Cancelling stops future renewal but generally keeps Pro access active until the paid period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
6. Access when a plan ends
If your Trial or Pro access expires, is cancelled, or is inactive, CueLift may lock access to Talks and send you to Plan & Pricing when you try to open a Talk, create a Talk, practice, use Live Cue, export, edit, or sync. Your Talks are not intentionally deleted because your plan ended, although local data can be removed if you delete the app or erase app data on your device. Reactivating Pro unlocks existing Talks again, including Talks created during trial.
7. Email sign-in and notices
CueLift uses email OTP sign-in and may send transactional account emails such as sign-in codes, magic links, account notices, support replies, and security-related messages. Automated account emails are sent from CueLift <[email protected]>. Support emails come from [email protected].
You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. CueLift will never ask you to send us your OTP code, app-store password, payment card details, or private API credentials by email.
8. Your content
You keep ownership of scripts, Talks, cue cards, edits, practice state, and exports you create in CueLift. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, transmit, back up, display, export, and generate cue cards from that content so CueLift can work. This includes processing script text with our backend and AI provider when you request Talk generation.
Talks are saved locally first and then queued for cloud backup when sync is available. Deleting a Talk removes it locally immediately and, when sync can run, deletes its cloud backup. You are responsible for having the right to use any script or material you add to CueLift.
9. AI output
CueLift uses a Supabase backend function and Cerebras.ai to generate cue cards and polished Talk options. Generated content can be incomplete, inaccurate, or not suitable for your specific audience. Review and edit generated content before relying on it. CueLift is a rehearsal tool and does not guarantee that a presentation will succeed, persuade an audience, or meet a professional standard.
10. Acceptable use
Please do not use CueLift to:
- break the law or infringe someone else's rights;
- add content you do not have the right to use;
- attempt to bypass plan limits or generation limits;
- abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt CueLift or its providers;
- use CueLift to create or operate a competing generation service.
11. Availability and changes
CueLift is provided as a rehearsal tool. We aim to keep it reliable, but app stores, devices, networks, and service providers can affect availability. Features, pricing, limits, or supported platforms may change as the product evolves. If we update these terms, we will post the current version here with its effective date.
We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, if required by law, or if needed to protect CueLift, our users, or our providers. You can stop using CueLift at any time and may request account deletion by contacting support.
